Origam, 2005 yilinda , Serkan Eles ve Ali Deveci tarafindan, Ankara'da bir beste grubu olarak kurulmustur. Sahne aldigi çesitli konserler sayesinde, adindan övgüyle söz ettirmeyi basaran ekip, kurulusundan günümüze geçen kisa zaman periyodu içerisinde önemli basarilara imza atmistir.
2 Haziran 2006 tarihinde, istanbul Studio Live'de Pentagram onuruna düzenlenen gecede, Türkiyenin önemli metal gruplariyla birlikte sahne alan Origam, basarili sahne performansiyla dikkatleri üzerine çekmis, kendilerini izleyen Pentagram grubunun üyeleri de dahil olmak üzere izleyiciden tam not almistir.
Eylül 2006'da ilk besteleri olan "End Of The Game" adli parçayi Mars Stüdyolarinda kaydederek piyasaya sürmüs ve sarkiyla ilgili olarak, oldukça olumlu elestiriler almislardir. Kaydetmis olduklari bu ilk parçayla, dünyaca ünlü mikrofon firmasi Shure'nin düzenlemis oldugu beste yarismasina katilan topluluk, elemeler sonucu ilk bes grup arasina girmeyi basaran tek metal grubu olma serefine erismistir.
ilerleyen zaman içerisinde, aralarinda Ankarock gibi ciddi organizasyonlar ve ODTÜ, Hacettepe gibi büyük üniversitelerin senliklerinin de bulundugu, çesitli konserlerde sahne alan Origam, Mayis ayinda düzenlenen Sony Ericsson Unistar beste yarismasina; "End Of The Game" isimli parçalariyla katilarak 300 grup arasindan bölge finaline kalmayi basaran tek metal grubu olmustur.
Tüm bu gelismelerden cesaret alip çalismalarina hiz kazandiran ekip, 2007 yilinin Haziran ayinda çikarmayi planladiklari demonun kaydina baslamis ve 4 parçalik ilk demosunu, "End Of The Game" adiyla Temmuz ayinda piyasaya sürmüstür. Kuruldugu günden bu zamana kadar birçok eleman degisikligi yasayan Origam'in son kadrosu su sekilde:

Origam, ilk günden beri bünyesinde barindirdigi amatör ruh ve zaman içerisinde kazanmis oldugu profesyonel bakis açisiyla çalismalarini sürdürmektedir. ------------------------------------------------------------ --------------------------
Origam has been established by Serkan Eles and Ali Deveci in Ankara in June 2005. They made their entry to the Ankara metal music market by performing their first concert in June in Yolcu Rock Bar. Since the sound of the band and the tone of vocalist Tunç did not match, Murat has been included in the band as lead singer in September. After the vocal change, the band performed their first concert on September 16, 2005 in Garage Rock Bar within Ankarock 2005 organization. Later, Hakan, the drummer of the band had to quit music because of his education and was replaced by Kemal, the drummer from Knightmare as the new drummer of Origam. The band performing two concerts in ODTÜ and Istanbul Caravan Rock Bar with this line-up began to be spoken of frequently. In March 2006, band bass guitarist Ali stated that he could not spare sufficient time for the band because of his academic career and decided to leave the band. He was replaced by Anil as the bass guitarist. With this line-up, the band showed up in a charity concert along with bands such as Soul Sacrifice, Catafalque on April 2, 2006 in Eskisehir Hayal Café del Mar. They took the stage with essential metal bands of the Turkish Republic in Pentagram Icon night, organized to honor Pentagram on June 2, 2006 in Istanbul Studio Live. In September 2006, the band recorded and released their first composition “End of the Game” in Mars Studios. Receiving quite positive criticism, the band succeeded to be among the 5 bands selected in composition contest organized by world famous microphone brand Shure. The band had to part its way with drummer Kemal and guitarist Tayfun due to musical disputes after the concert given in Sakl--kent within Ankarock 2006 organization. Later, Fahri as guitarist and Mert as the drummer joined the band. With this line-up, the band started to play regularly on Tuesdays in Yolcu Rock Bar, in January 2007. The program lasted for nearly 3 months and meanwhile the band performed concerts in Istanbul Dorock Bar, Konya Geçit Rock Bar and Ankara Baskent University. The band, succeeding to be at regional finals again with their song “End of the Game” in Sony Ericsson Unistar contest organized in May, later had to part its way with drummer Mert and bass guitarist Anil. Drummer Hakan from bands Unadorned and Phronesis joined the band. Starting to record their demo in June, the band has been the guest to the program Backstage in Radio METU on July 19. 3 days after the program, on July 22, they released their 4 song demo End of the Game, after their first song,. Currently working on new songs, the band aims to release a pretentious and high quality album.
