Nakamura slammed her gloves on top of Kimberly’s at the traditional shaking of the gloved hands, which made Harris smile. This was going to be a war, and it was. Nakamura was vicious and really gave Harris a beating, but this wasn’t completely one sided. Harris fought as hard as she could and tagged Nakamura a few times, but wasn’t able to sustain an attack, and ended up losing a unanimous decision.

Chika Nakamura improved when she pounded out a tough unanimous decision over the very determined and valiant Cynthia "Sunshine" Jones. At 5’7 and 140 pounds, Nakamura is a very big lady. Her physical presence alone poses a major problem for anyone she faces.

She's 28-year-old Chika Nakamura, who leaves tongues scraping the floor in her leather pants and spiked boots, yet joins her hands and delivers an Old World bow to anyone who says farewell.
No, she's not the ring girl. She'll be fighting on the undercard. With her stiff left jab and gentle features, she could someday grace the covers of both Ring magazine and FHM. Nakamura, a former basketball player in Japan who loves whisking a motorcycle across Manhattan's streets and even considered a racing career. "I think I like motorcycles because like boxing, there's speed and it's dangerous," Nakamura says, and although she wants to be taken seriously as a boxer, plainly admits that "beauty is power."
