Scene is comprise of Nikki Murry and Camil Watts, two Las Vegans who have developed a union through soul music to lay down a foundation amongst Sin Citys music scene. As singers and song writers, the two met in high school to end up becoming friends and have been vocalizing their melodies and harmonies since. Their style of music comprises of R&B, Soul, Hip-Hop & Funk reminiscent of recording artists Brownstone, Floetry, Jill Scott, and India Irie.Since the early 1990s, Scene has been performing amongst small venues to make sure their sound was heard. Until the present, they have reached new heights and recognitions by some of the Las Vegas revered Booking Agents to perform in acclaimed night clubs and music venues. Their sound attracted the attention of Las Vegas premiere Hip Hop act The Chapter. Through some guidance from producer 3-Sixty and Emcee Verbal E, they were chosen to do back up vocals for the group which led them to open up for established Hip Hop Superstars up and down the West Coast, as well as open up as their own act for Jazz greats Will Downing & Gerald Albright and Soul great Al Green. Their sound is distinctive and differs from a lot of acts in Las Vegas and can be easily compared to some superstars that are out in the entertainment circuit today.Happiness, sadness, trials and tribulations, and most importantly truth and life are in the lyrics that Scene portrays in their ballads. These ladies have little to do with trouble expressing what they are most passionate about on paper, as well as having the divine gift of captivating the crowd.Through their music, they possess an intrinsic musical integrity that the industry has long forgotten. Thus putting them at the forefront of a movement that will elevate music to new heights..
