Noise Drug
For those about to thrash
1996,...the year of the 26. Olympic Games and clone-sheep Dolly...,the band Noise Drug was founded by Andreas Zech (guitar), Alex Muss (bassguitar) and Marco Sessenhausen (drums). First ment as a teenage- hobbyband they soon realized the musical potential of this formation. In 2005 Martin Ringsmut (guitar) and Michael Schröder (bassguitar) joined the trio and therefore Alex quit playing the bassguitar and gave his undivided attention to the vocals.
Because of the various musical preferences of each musician, they are not afraid to cross the border of the meldodic thrash-metal and so it´s not surprising that their songs are influenced by many different kinds of music.
Their quickly growing number of fans really enjoy Noise Drug`s live performances which are in many respects exciting. They integrate the audience in the show and entertain them with spontainious entertainment sections and by using even pyrotechnic elements.
During the last years Noise Drug recorded and sold several demotapes and promotion material themselves.
In 2006 the first official publication came out, The three-track-cd was brought out by New Art Records and it shows again the special character of this young band from the westwood.
At the end of 2006 the band decided, because of their 10th anniversary, to record a whole new album including a wide selection of their song-repertory.
