What do you want to know? Well I've been into music virtually all my life, my love for all types of music has evolved over the years to include new styles of music as they came along. How did I get into making music? My brother Andrew (Drew Mac) deserves the credit for that. He brought his computer and some software to my home and said "Have a go." I did, it was crap, and my career as a music artist ended there and then. But how did I get to this point? The next day a friend of mine came to my house and I put on the computer and he heard what I did and told me what I already knew that it was crap, but not in that way; (Close your eyes kids). He said "What the fuck is this shit, you could'nt pay me enough to take this shit home, if I was in a record store and they put this shit on, I'd beat the fuckin' guy behind the counter to death with a c.d. rack and burn the fuckin' shop to the ground for insulting my ears!" (Okay kids you can open your eyes now). So I decided 2 things that day, 1, Kick him to the kerb and 2, By hook or by crook, I was going to get better at this, NO MATTER WHAT!! That still does'nt explain how I got here. I got better at making music and started to play my tracks on my c.d. player at work. People started flocking round my c.d. player and asking who the artist was, so I told them it was me, and they all said pretty much the same thing, "You have to do something with this, it's too good to just sit on it!" So I went to a music project called "Making Music Work" and they helped me to hone my skills and network my music. Since then, I have had some radio airplay and a write up in a music magazine, the writer thought Trevor Nelson would like my style, and I also had 1 of my tracks (It was called "Whup! Throw Your Hands Up!") released on a compilation album called "From the Region". So the next step, of course is to have a "Myspace" page (Or 2, Or 3............). Anyway, have a listen to my music, check out my other pages (They're in my top friends ;) add me if you want and let me know what you think, but always......................................................
...........................................KEEP DOIN' WHAT YOU DO. Peace. Mac D.J.
