Influences: Loads - Really love the old Good Looking and Metalheadz sound. Cliche I know, but at the end of the day the simple fact is that the majority of D&B today is shit, especially when compared to the music being made by these artists over TEN YEARS ago.
That said, theres still some good stuff out there, and some labels carrying the torch.....
I like most genres of music, although I tend to steer towards atmospheric music - from the deeper side of the spectrum to the more cinematic and sinister! Always been into Rock, but the rhythms are a bit too basic in all honesty. Every now and again Ill throw on some FFAF or Thrice but I try not too, as its far too depressing!!! Indie and metal are far more listenable....
Got a lot of time for EukaHouse Records (proper atmospheric Tech House), really feeling some Boxcutter stuff of late.
Always got time for Quantic, Deisler, and proper UK Hip Hop, talking about pubs and chippies and other stuff I can relate to rather than that shopping-list yankee-bentleys-and-bitches stuff - Jehst, Braintax, Roots Manuva etc
Theres alot that can be learned from the likes of Steve Reich, Brian Eno et al too!
Im probably influenced more by what I see (hence the reason ill be out in Winter shiverring to death with the camera), and the people I meet than what I hear!
