Matteo Geri: Cantautore. Il senso del progetto Matteo Geri e' quello di dar vita ad una vena cantautoriale di cui si e' persa traccia nei tempi odierni e che vive solo in coloro che hanno fatto ella loro musica un veicolo di sensazioni ed emozioni ma anche di impegno sociale. Basti ricordare, tra questi, Gaber, De Andre', De Gregori e altri che, oltre alla maestria della loro penna, hanno creato armonie musicali sempre piu' ricercate. Ed e' proprio in questi mondi appartati che Matteo Geri si plasma e fa suo il binomio mai imprescindibile di testo e melodia, dando vita ad un piccolo universo che parla di se', delle sue sensazioni e pensieri di fronte alle vicende del mondo. Il Progetto Matteo Geri si basa sulla sincerita' e sulla verita' del messaggio delle canzoni per cui tutti i suoni che accompagnano le parole sono assolutamente veri e suonati dalle mani senza aiuto di Computer o con altri mezzi artificiali che mascherano la verita' ed il talento dei musicisti che collaborano nel progetto.

Matteo Geri Singer-songwriter. Matteo Geri musical project aims at giving back to life that vein, typical of the singer-songwriters , whose traces have got lost in recent times and that have lived in those italian composers who, during their lifetime , considered music both as a vehicle for their sensations and emotions and for their social commitment, like Giorgio Gaber, Fabrizio De Andre', Francesco De Gregori, Francesco Guccini.But that same vein has found its life in other singer-songwriters like Claudio Baglioni or Mariella Nava who together with the grandeur of their writing , have given birth to more and more refined musical harmonies. from these secluded worlds that Matteo Geri takes his inspiration and creates the combination that cannot be disregarded between tune and lyrics giving birth to a small universe where he sings and writes about himself , his sensations, emotions and opinions regarding some aspects of the modern society and some striking events happening in the world. Matteo Geri's message revealed in his songs is based on sincerity and truth, and this aspect is reflected even on music which is absolutely true and played with real instruments without the help of computers or other artificial means that could hide the truthfulness of the project. .
