Well talking about me, i've always had this dream of recording my own Cd at a time i was growing up as a little kid in Nigeria when i discovered that i have the gift of singing and the passion for writing songs, at the age of 10 when i started singing in my seminary school choir performing group and solo acapela. though i never really delved into nuturing this talent or learning music or how to sing instead i concentrated on my education which was a more realistic thing to do at that time and kept singing and songwriting as hobby. After this period in my life however, this passion, this feeling grew tremendously and became a dream that has to be shared with the world. With inspirations from the likes of Boyz 11 Men, Blackstreet, Steve Wonder, Luther Vandross, R Kelly, Mariah Carey, Bob Marley, and encouragment from my close listeners, Oakcee started taking his songwriting serious creating nice melodies, harmonies and performing songs from other artists. Residing in Switzerland today, Oakcee came to realize that once you have this gift of creativity in you, you will never be accomplished until you put this creativity into reality, so i started recording demos, experimenting with a lot of ideas, knowing that its in me and all i have to do is work with a seasoned Rnb producer to get this feelings out and share them with u. obviously the songs u are listening to now does not have the polish of a big professional studio, they are simply demos, ideas, experiments that will turn into a great debut album of which i'm about to record the first single, and i hope u'll be there with me every step of the way.
