CONTACTO:
I grew up in a circle of Opera lovers and the great classics such as Beethoven, Verdi, Puccini, Mozart, Wagner, J.S.Bach,etc...and despite any of my ancestors were musicians i started playing doublebass at the early age of 7 years. After some years of basic education at the conservatory I realized that the great interest I had on music was deeper and more spiritual than listening to boring teacher who had lost that flame that once made them have such a big passion.
So i took and old spanish guitar and tried to play over some Beatles records and step by step y started to learn more from a different point of view that they gave in the conservatory. It became part of my soul and felt that i had been born for that.
When I improved a bit my skills it was time to learn with the one I have in the biggest altair. Alfredo Moran , a jazzmaster from my town, guitar player and also a great musician taught me how to become faster but the most important thing he did for me was to make me see the beauty of harmony and a really precious lesson: "any man is complete till the day of his death because a physical wall stops his learing" - "the apprenticeship must to be your aim but don't get desperate because t is sure you won't find an end if you are no fool".
So that i'm learning each day and studing a lot to improve my improvisation to become a great musician.
BANDS:
My first performance was at the age of 7 at the Opera House in a child choir. Too fun for kids being standing at a only place with all that well dressend and mannered people watching when you look like a 18th century guy and everything you want to do is destroying the scenery!!!
Apart form those happy years, the first band I formed was called FINAL FATE . It was a HEAVY METAL band with my friends and the very first begginer players I met. It was a good time to realize that although you work your hardest, any good change will happen if you are not surrounded with real people keen on your music plans. After that experience I formed part of a SOUTHERN ROCK TRIO called Bill Bullet . It was preatty fun and sounded quite good but I stil had that metal touch in my playing that didn't fit so well. Then I realized I had to improve my cleaning playing giving my sound a bigger harmony structure to make my melodies sound with a real feeling. Then that's the moment I live rigth now and I think It's the way to become better.
By the time a was without a band to play with, I felt brave to carry my own show. After a few performances alone it was obvious that a GREAT CHARISMA, GOOD LOOKING APPEARANCE with 80's rock star clothes and GOOD PLAYING at stage (being no modest I know), were not enough to be successfull I such a proyect so I called some friends I met during my JAZZ sessions the previous moths and formed a non static band with JAVIER BARBADILLO on the guitars and ADRIAN CARRIO on the saxo and piano. The drummer is not always the same person (all the drummers in this entirely world are always so bussy!!!).The bassplayer depends on the place we play......well still I haven't said which was the show name:
THE ESPINZA'S YOUNG GUITAR FREAK SHOW
It's so funny and so dynamic that I think it will never die...it's like a physic principle "...this show is never created or destroyed, it only changes on time..."
After the GREAT FREAK SHOW we played on September the 16th I travelled to MADRID for growing up by my self within the sordid Jazz Clubs. The experience was successful in every way......I played with a LATIN BAND replacing a great guitar player called ANDY .... the guys were from Cuba and Argentina..really cool people...
On October this same year 2006 I jumped to FINALND for making a little concert in a place called HENRY'S PUB .As everybody in this country, people from this PUB was great.
Since november of 2006 i started studing conciously harmony and playing JAZZ . Me any my dear friend Adrian Carrio the great pianist seted the background of a legendary Jam Session that will take place fro many many years
....we've invited to play such big jazz musicians as Alfredo Moran, Pablo Regnando, Isaac Turienzo, Dani Lombas, Jaime "crazydickfromchile", Emilio Ortiz, Fran Masaveu 55, Juan Arenales, Claudio Vasquez, etc etc.....
By this time i'm part of the new Hot Club de Asturias which is a manouche band leaded by Juan Arenales, a great guitarrist and a bizarre mind.
In March i met the great argentinian composer and piano player Julian Benjamin of whom i became friend and actually I record guitars for his newest album.
