About Me

The Flat Cats are one of Chicago’s most exciting musical acts. The group is comprised of local musicians with years of performing, arranging, and composing experience and has a classic appeal of top quality musicianship, look, and spirit. The Flat Cat's’ blend of vintage and modern music including the hottest swinging jazz, jump blues, steamy standards, modern classics, ballads, and toe-tapping western swing is guaranteed to entertain you whether you choose to listen or you just can’t avoid the dance floor!

The Flat Cats have had the pleasure of performing at many many different venues and events throughout the Midwest, among them Navy Pier, The Aracada Theater in St. Charles,IL the Sandbar in Brookfield , IL, and the Univerity of Illinois Homecoming. The Flat Cats perform equally well in any environment, from smoky jazz for your dinner event to a full theater/stadium show for thousands. The variety of our music library and the versatility of these talented musicians allows us to tailor our sound and style to fit any event or venue, from weddings to corporate events to a feature act for your festival. The Flat Cats are an amazing group of talented and experienced musicians.
