Influences: Clifford, Freddie, I love Woody, but haven't integrated much of his stuff into my playing yet. Lee Morgan, Chet Baker...A lot of guys. Oh yeah, but my teacher is the best young trumpet player to come out of the Bay Area since Tom Harrell, the wonderful Mr. Mike Olmos. More recently, I have started taking lessons with Jay Rizzeto.
Sounds Like: A young jazz trumpet player and composer.
