About Me

The Bawdy Juggler "plays faire" at themed events all over the West Coast and is willing to travel to far off and exotic places in an effort to bring live entertainment to all with humor, dexderity and a dash of spirit.(hiccup) The Bawdy Juggler is played by Adam Reid, an acclaimed stage performer who mixes mirth, merriment and skill with bawdy comedy in a show that will surely entertain princes, peasants and puritans alike. My Interests

I dig my babe, my baby, motorcycles, making things with my hands and I'm learning to surf again, but, I love to fish most of all. Also; Physical Art; Juggling, dance, theatre, concerts and people are good examples of the physical art I enjoy watching. I'm a rockhound, a seamster and a storyteller.

I'd like to meet:

Hillary Clinton; She has survived the slings and arrows cast by small men through out her husbands 8 year presidency and stood tall through it all. Even when Whitewater was morphed into a stained blue dress and her personal business paraded about as if it were a matter of national importance by evil men, she proved her virtue. Huzzah for Hillary!!!

Music:

Although I'm a beatles Freak, I'll always listen to Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Bowie, BTO, Eagles, Doobie Bros., Elton John, CSNY, Janis Joplin, Rod Stewart and the rest of the "Classic Rock" pantheon. I'm also a fan of Blues, R&B, Big Band and Swing.

Movies:

I like Pirate movies. Also; O' brother, where art thou!, Shakespeare in Love, Batman Begins, Boondock Saints, Spiderman I&II, Galaxy Quest, Finding Nemo, Any Bond film, Forrest Gump, The Professional, Planet of the Apes(curse you, Tim Burton), Dangerous Beauty, Billy Jack, Nightmare before Christmas(O.K, thanks, Tim) Anything with Gweneth Paltrow, Kevin Spacey, Sean Connery, Jennifer Connely or Jessica Biel.

Television:

Deadwood, The Daily Show, That 70's Show, Carnivale, old movies, some cartoons, The Munsters, Addam's Family, Get Smart, Gilligan's Island, Mission Impossible and Batman.

Books:

Being academicly challenged and having a memory like a seive hasn't stopped my reading habit, it only slows it down some and I can reread favorites and still be entertained. Some of the books I've read over and over; the "Dune" series: all of them. Tolkiens LOTR series including the Hobbit and the Silmarillion. Several Jane Roberts books. Several Carlos Casteneda books. Other authors I enjoy; Steven King, David Brin, Issac Asimov, Guy Gavriel Cay, Anne Rice, Dean Koontz, Tony Hillerman, James Clavell, R. Crighton, Douglas Adams, Eric Van Lustbader, David Morrell, Dan Brown, Stephen Donaldson, Jacqueline Carey, Kurt Vonnegut, etc.

Heroes:

My brother Paul; he can do everything! George Carlin; he can say anything. The Obscene Juggler (commedian, Greg Dean); the best audience manipulater I've seen. My sixth grade teacher, Mr. Wren; who treated me as a person worthy of his respect and attention no matter what. Samiah; a designer with vision and conviction. Jesus; the man who saw the corruption of his religion and did something about it. All these heros pushed the normal limits of "whats possible" and changed my/our world in the process. Thanks.
