About Me

I am originally from Amsterdam, Holland. I have lived in the States most of my life. I have lived in California the longest and consider this my home. I have 3 brothers, and am the only girl. My mother is my hero, and the strongest person I know. My family and I are very close.
I have spent most of my school years studying Veterinary Medicine, which I love and enjoy. I have a HUGE love for all animals.
My husband Jason and I just moved to Southern Arizona, with our zoo of animals. We have Herman the box-turtle, who I have had for 24 years!! He truly is my little dinosaur.
We have three cats, Cougar & Angel who were rescue's from a Veterinary Hospital I used to work for. And our newest addition, Blurr,-aka-Jelly-man! Who I picked up from Tom-Tom's mom's place after Tom's son Steffan and best friend Dawn rescued them out of a dumpster on trash day!
We have two dogs, Harley the Bear, who I have had for 11 years now. She is my little blue tick beagle and arrooo monster. I bought a German Shepherd puppy for my husband last year which we promptly named Loki. Who if you don't already know, is the Norse God of mischief! Trust me it fits. He is about 90lbs now and almost 2 years old.
So suffice it to say, we have our own little zoo here at home. No more for now thanks! I just opened up my own small business last year, called "K-9 Escorts" a dog walking, animal sitting business, which allows my love for animals to be put to good use. >'.'<
Some new & exciting news...
We just had our first baby!! A little girl we named Skylar Mathilda! She was born on June 30th, 2008 at 1:05a.m. weighing in at 9lbs, 11oz 22inches long after a very long labor of 28hours! She is absolutley perfect and beautiful and we are both very much in love with her. She has a Dutch first name like me, and my own mother's first name as her middle name.
