About her clothingline:Omatu Gottschlich, who is in charge for the designing division and the distribution of the fashion line. She gets her inspiration from music, through her love towards soul, which runs in her blood, as mother and father are loyal fans of Soul, Funk and old-school music. After her graduation from the elite fashion école Hetzendorf in Vienna, Austria, she studied singing and dancing at the Viennese Conservatorium for Music. Those are just a small introduction towards her "artsy" background that influences the FULANI designs.
Voyage – meaning "travel" in French is not just a name for a Couture dress, it is also another inspiration for Omatu. She travels frequently to the United States and Africa to gain new ideas and to widen her horizon and her level of creativity.
FULANI was regularly represented on important conventions such as the INDUSTRY 212 in New York and the WWDMAGIC in Las Vegas. She made very important connections through her adversity, which she proudly contributes towards the company profile.
An encouraging outcome that this Viennese fashion label gained was the representation in many Boutiques in the USA with persistently new requests for new product orders.
