Harith Bates aka Puppa Junior.
Songwriter, singer and Dj musician.
Born and raised in Kenya, Eastafrica.
As a child of a family rich with musicians, it was only natural that i started singing when i was 9 years of age.
I first came to Vienna, Austria in 1998.
In 2001, i cofounded my first crew called Watatu Crew (Me, Richman and Ras Kibz) in Vienna.
In 2005, i also founded the UN Soldiers Dancehall formation together with Wipperman.
This group went on playing around Vienna till they won a band contest of which the winning prize was to play at the Donauinsel Fest a three day fair that is also said to be Europe..s biggest street fest and is held annually and also attracts more than 1000 000 people.
Between 2006 and 2007 i took a break and worked as a solo artist running gigs in Vienna and Munich(Germany).
April 2008 really brought me a mindblowing experience as official support act for Morgan Heritage during their Mission in progress album soundsystem tour at Metropolis Kulturfabrik musichall in Munich(Germany).
Also in November 2008, i released two songs Africa rise and Bounce wit us under Richvibe Records Vienna (Austria).

Right now i..m working on my first full solo album which will be an eclectic mixture or as we say in Vienna a "Melange" of oldschool, newschool urban music, based on a dancehall vibe
