About Me

Dustin White and the Jeff Jones Trio have been performing enticing music for several years. The ensemble recalls classic american jazz and has been influenced by such greats as Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, and songwriters such as George Gershwin, Cole Porter, and Jerome Kern. With Whites sultry voice and Jones lyrical song writing and musical direction, the group has definitely created a fresh and new original sound.Dustin White and the Jeff Jones Trio was voted best jazz group in 2000, at the Peoples Choice Awards held by the Press Telegram in Long Beach, California. Most recently, their song, I Cant Dance Without You was an award winner at the 2002 John Lennon International Songwriting Contest. Their music has also been featured in several independent films, as well as the PBS television series, CD Highway.In March of 2003, Dustin White and the Jeff Jones Trio released a new album of all originals songs entitled, Loves Never Been So Nice. The album echoes feelings of romance, passion and love, at the same time weaving class, elegance and style into the music and lyrics. Dustin White and the Jeff Jones Trio have also performed for many benefit concerts including: The American Heart Association, The Ocean Institute, The Port of Long Beach, and The International Business Association.The group will also be featured in Riviera Magazine for the month of December 2004. Riviera magazine is an upscale publication with a high circulation.
