A true dynamic duo of peers…think Batman and Spiderman. Czar-Nok is Huey P. and Jimmy Haze together they exhale the drive to match their predecessors (Jay-Z, R. Kelly). They have planted the seed (Underground Vol. 1-5) in the ears of cities like Chicago, Nashville, Houston and of course the tri-state. Locdown Records and Capitol Records new rap duo CzarNok also took the crowd at the 7th annual Mix Show Power Summit held in Puerto Rico by surprise earlier this month (Oct.2004). Recently being compared to Outkast by some, as a public teaser CzarNok performed “Herculesâ€, “Walk This Way†and “Ganstaâ€, (“Hercules†being the single on their first album which will be released mid 2005) all receiving radio hit type response from the audience.CzarNok’s foundation is derived from a common desire to produce, write, sing and lyricize. This plateau was reached on a trip to Houston where their 2 styles of music emanated through their two separate entities (CzarNok / Wieghtboyz). Paired up by chance HayCzar and E-Nok Salaat together bring us a style of all their own. Together back to their hometown Forest Park, Cincinnati, Ohio they were reassured of their common goal when they hit the studio. With a style only these two can call their own this collaboration found a home at LOCDOWN Records in 1999. When they teamed up with CEO Los Vegas whom gave them the opportunity to use the studio to do (outside of performing) what they do best…creating music for the performance. LOCDOWN (Los Vegas) began to see how Huey P. and Jimmy Haze were really ahead of their time. Seeing how driven both were to produce and perform their own material and how the pair became (and remain) dedicated workaholics once they had the chance to do so Los Vegas groomed them to the business side of the music industry.Whether it is through the medium of vocalizing, rapping, writing or producing music, CzarNok’s intellectual past, present and future baller prospective stands out while handling their business.
