Thank you. And again, enjoy the site. ♥ Danielle
Mr. Uiterwijk is a student of Master JAE U. LEE, 7th. Dan, Korea Taekwondo Moo Duk Kwan and W.T.F. and has trained from 1986 - 2003, and has taught under Master Lee's supervision from 1998 - 2003. Master Lee now resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. Currently Mr. Uiterwijk is a student of Grandmaster Y.A. KWON 9th. Dan W.T.F and is learning master level poomsae and techniques, as well as Hapkido and techniques from the World Ho Kwon Do Federation founded by Grandmaster KWON. Mr. Uiterwijk recieved his 5th. Dan ( Degree ) black belt with the Moo Duk Kwan on 19th. Oct. 2002. He Tested for 5th. Dan on 10th. June. 2006 for certifcation from Grandmaster Y.A. Kwon and is a member of the World Ho Kwon Do Federation. Both organizations are internationally recognized. He is also an International certified Master Instructor by the Kukkiwon, (WTF) World Taekwondo Federation. Mr. Uiterwijk has taught children and adult classes at LEE'S TAEKWONDO CONNECTION in East Boston and at the Boston Korean school in Brookline, for Korean-American students. Our students train for many reasons, self-defense, fitness, weight loss, stress reduction, self control and self confidence. We also compete in state, regional, and national competitions for students that wish to test their Taekwondo skills in a friendly atmosphere. We believe that our most insightful students, should be both righteous and skilled in the martial arts. Each and every student learns at their own pace, according to their abilities, body stucture, flexibilities, commitment and their perseverance. Real mastery in any art are learned one step at a time and should be well rounded. A good student will be consistent and train diligently. Patience and dedication are a must. The real benefits will not appear right away. Earning a black belt is just the beginning. Mr. Uiterwijk has also trained briefly with Master Harold Whalen 7th. Dan, Korea Hapkido Federation, and with Sifu Kenneth Dong, Nam Pai Kung-fu academy. It is Sabom Uiterwijk's goal to train well rounded martial artist. Besides constantly up-grading his Tae Kwon Do skills, he is also learning Hapkido, Qi-gong, and Tai Chi Chuan, to enhance our students knowledge, skills, and health. Sabom Uiterwijk was born in the year of the Tiger ( 1962, water ). He is, and most diffinately has, the personality of the Tiger. Beware !!!*** "TRAINING WITH THE BEST, TO GIVE YOU HIS BEST". ***Information is from interviews with my dads black belt students, his instructors and watching my dad progress in Taekwondo over the years. Love you Dad, Danielle
