music-discovery.de is a German Online Webzine for all kind of Metal and Industrial music.
I have started with music-discovery.de (the version you know) in December 2004. It was created out of the ashes of the printed Fanzine Tales / Forgotten Tales and a small online-link-list called Music Discovery. I decided to create a web only fanzine for all kind of Metal and Industrial music that will support the music scene and the underground as good as possible, based on some ideas of these two old projects. Since the start the website grows with tons of reviews, news, interviews, concert-reviews, photos,… to support all good bands in the scene and we don..t care if a band is well known or pure underground. If we like the music, you can find a good review, if we hate it, we say it…
We are supporting all kind of Metal and Industrial, so you can find Rock, Heavy Metal, Death Metal, Grindcore as well as EBM, Industrial, Ambient or Experimental Music and tons of other styles here. Just be open minded and enjoy good music.
Too give some good music and bands additional promotion, I created an audio-podcast ( podcast.music-discovery.de ) and a video-podcast ( forgotten-tales.de ). Equal to the website, you can listen and see a mix of Metal and Industrial music. Expecting to first episodes of the video-podcast (those very based on the pure GEMA-license) all music that is supported in those podcasts are Creative Commons or license-free.
