Thank you for visiting my page. I sincerely hope you enjoy your visit. As you can see, I am a person with many layers. I'm comfortable in many situations, whether it is talking to my son about the bike we plan to build together, attending an elaborate social function or being up front at a rock concert. I am the proud mother of three great individuals, two daughters and one son. They are my life...they are my best friends.

There are several issues in my life that I am very passionate about. First and foremost is family. Secondly, my heart goes out to the homeless. This has long been a project to which I have been devoted. Nearly homeless myself at one point in my life, I can see how easily you can find yourself in this situation, and not always by your own choice, as many believe. Everyday there is something we each can do to make a difference in someone's life...all we have to do is pay attention and show compassion. Collectively, we can begin to change things!

My Interests

Reading, sewing, gardening, cooking, dancing, live theater, studying criminal justice or just learning in general and music, music, music. I also like a bit of the outdoors when the weather isn't too hot. Of course that almost never happens here in the deep south! Love to camp and fish. And I don't mean camping in an air conditioned RV! Nothing like the smell of coffee brewing in the great outdoors! I also love thunder storms, my cat, scented candles, historical places, the mountains, cold weather and the fireplace.

My dream home. I've actually stayed in this cabin in Tennessee.

Music:

Music is a passion of mine. I grew up in a house full of musicians. What would life be without music? My first experience with an instrument was with an upright bass on our back porch. I was about 11 and Daddy had to hold it "upright" for me. Good times! Since I'm an "older" rocker, some of my favorites include the Eagles, Aerosmith, Elton John, Jackson Brown, Fleetwood Mac, Eric Clapton, Jethro Tull, Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Allman Brothers, Johnny and Edgar Winter, Alice Cooper, Bon Jovi...you get the general idea. Blues...Roxy Perry. To satisfy my country side I like George Strait, Travis Tritt, Reba McIntyre, Josh Turner. Now on to the classical...Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban and Chris Riggins. I like all types of music, except rap...that's not music, just noise. To keep up with the younger generation, I listen to Kill Hannah, Snow Patrol, Coldplay, The Wallflowers, etc.
