Finally! Therese’s debut album is out. It’s been a long journey and many bridges to cross, releasing a commercial pop album on herown label. The lyrics have all been carefully picked by Therese who has worked with songwriters like Alexandra Talomaa, Nick Jarl and David Rosengren. She has also written some of the material herself. Both singles from the album have gotten good response from radio, and the song “No Reason” climbed the charts.Therese’s voice has always been her biggest asset and when she found the right sound for her, she didn’t hesitate to make her dream record. Emotional pop with feminine touch. On the album “Out Too Deep” Therese mixes material from well known songwriters like Alexandra Talomaa, Marcus Black, Nick Jarl, David Rosengren and herself.She has a burning interest for music and singing is her passion. The road that lead to this release has gone through many genres in music like euro disco, jazz and rock. Her voice made her popular in the music business, even though she has had to defend her love for the commercial music.“My taste in music varies, but most of all I love music that manages to be simple but heartfelt and touching”. She is inspired by singers who sing with passion, for example Axl Rose, Eva Cassidy, among others.The album is about pop music, with original touches that are to be found in the details. Lyrics that takes unexpected turns, musical flirtations with different styles like grunge and blues, and Therese’s voice that is based on the unique technique she’s picked up from respected jazz singer and teacher Kevyn Lettau in Los Angeles. Normally, records in this genre are released by the bigger record companies. “I’ve been signed to one of the biggest record companies, and of course that has its advantages! It is easier for sure, but at the same time you are constantly required to follow someone else’s whish all the time.”So this time she simply signed herself to her own record company and enjoys the freedom it gives her, and also the opportunity to create the music exactly the way she wants it.“Totally scary, but at the same time it feels natural to me to do it this way!” New single out "Worse Than You".
