About Me

The Dimwits formed in the summer of 2003 from the remains of the Taunton, Massachusetts based punk band Freezerburn. Bad Luck Brett was a high school friend and he and I had been in a hardcore band called Turn For The Worse back in 1995, so he was happy to take up vocal duties. Intially we took the name Soul Be Free from a Sick Of It All song but later changed to the more appropriate Dimwits in 2004.
Fast forward to 2007. To date we've released one EP(Clear The Room in 2005) and one full length record(Hey Man, Good Set in 2007) both on our own label Winter Street Records. We've clocked in over 100 shows, playing constantly around Boston and New England and touring that has taken us to New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.
Look for us on tour this spring throughout the Mid-West and East Coast. Thanks for checking us out.
