I don't believe in an eye for an eye, I believe in two eye's for an eye! - Bas Rutten

About Me

I am just a quiet person trying to fit into the world and earn enough money in my current job as a customer care consultant to get by. It can suck as I have to deal with idiots all day long, especially with Internet related enquiries (don't get me started on them). However while it's the work I hate, I really like the people I work with.
Here is a video of 2 members of the Gracie family (Rickson and Royler) doing a highlight of the martial art they made famous and which I train in also...

Now here is a BJJ clip of the Ribeiro brothers Saulo and Xande, both of whom are very accomplished grapplers...

and thirdly, a clip showing me passing out from a triangle choke by Lucas (this is what happens when you don't tap)...

My Interests

Star Wars, North Melbourne FC, Manchester United FC, Bjj ( Brazilian Jiujitsu ) , MMA (Mixed Martial Arts), mma comps like Pride & UFC, Poker (more specifically Texas Hold 'Em), Splinter Cell (computer game series). I also like stuff to do with ancient history - archaelogy, dinosaurs, world history, etc etc...

I'd like to meet:

Royler Gracie (personally my favourite Gracie)

Carlos Gracie Jr (founder of Gracie Barra, in which the club I train at is affiliated to)

Sir Alex Ferguson (the manager of Manchester United FC and one of the most successful managers in English Football)

Emily Scott (what can I say - she's absolutely gorgeous)

Kyra Gracie (she's hot and an awesome bjj practitioner - i think i have found my future personal bjj coach!)

Music:

Bon Jovi, DJ Sammy, Linkin Park, too many to list as i like a lot of other genres seeing as i was more of a radio person to start with...

Movies:

Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, The Great Escape . The Borat moviefilm is absolutely hiliarious!

Television:

24 (why does Jack Bauer always gets shafted?), Cold Case, Simpsons , Futurama, South Park, The Sopranos...

Books:

I'm currently reading a book called 'Inside the Global Jihad: How I infiltrated Al Qaeda and was abandoned by Western Intelligence' by Omar Nasiri, which is basically about how the author trained with various Al Qaeda groups in Europe and even in Pakistan/Afganistan (verified by the former CIA head of the Bin Laden unit).

Heroes:

Well apart from those with whom I'd like to meet - Guga, Marcelo (see profile pic), Saulo Ribeiro: , Xande Ribeiro: , Han Solo: , Captain Virgil Hilts: (no one will ever ride a motorbike better), the King himself - Wayne Carey, Glen Archer, The Great Dane - Peter Schmeichel, General Peter Cosgrove (a true leader):
