About Me

Hello! Welcome to Gracie Barra (pronounced baha) Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu & MMA Academy Lancaster California in the Antelope Valley area. Gracie Barra Academy is the only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu School in the Antelope Valley area with a real Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black belt, Kazeka Muniz. Kazeka is not only a Gracie Black belt, he is a 2x world BJJ champion and 5x Brazilian National champion not to mention that he has also competed in Free Style wrestling all over the world, with his most proud achievement placing 3rd at the 2001 Moscow Open Wrestling Championship, Moscow Russia, where he lived for few years training with the Olympic team. Kazeka Has also competed in Sambo Wrestling in Tbilisi, Georgia (former Soviet Union). Where he won the Borjomi Sambo Championship. Kazeka is also the only BJJ black belt in the Antelope Valley with MMA(mixed martial arts) experience with a pro fight record of 11-1-0, Kazeka has fought in Japan, Holland, Russia, Georgia, Azerbaijan and the USA. In 2005 Kazeka won the All Japan BJJ Pro-league beating Mishioshy Hayakawa. Kazeka got his BJJ black after only 4 ½ years of training at the hands of his head coach Carlos Gracie Jr. head coach of the famous Gracia Barra academy in Rio where Kazeka lived. Just to name few of the people whom also Carlos Gracie Jr. has promoted. Renzo Gracie, Ralf Gracie, Roger Gracie, Ryan Gracie, Rilion Gracie, Kyra Gracie Draculino, Pe de Pano, Nino Schmbri, The Machado brothers (Rigan, Carlos, Jean Jacque, Roger) just to name few. Kazeka is one of the few Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu teachers who has taught all over the world, and now has representatives almost everywhere. So we would like to invite you to come and train with the VERY BEST the A.V has to offer. If your goal is to be the best, why not train with the best.
