About Me

The Tukr Hill Story -
It all started in the fall of 1999 with the introduction of guitarist Derrick Walters to drummer Alan Keeping through a mutual acquaintance. They met and immediately began writing and recording they’re own music, which consisted of hard-edged guitars and melodic vocals.
Over the next few years, their songs began leaning more towards a lighter, acoustic/electric sound, yet still with catchy, melodic hooks. As the positive response to their songs grew, they realized this was to be the direction of their future.
In early October 2007, Tuk'r Hill released their first self-titled CD "Tuk'r Hill". An 11 song compilation with guest musicians Karyn Sylak and Rob Taylor helping out on several tracks.
Through a local add, Tuk'r Hill found Bass/back up vocalist Chuck West, his experience and great talent proved to be the missing piece of the puzzle needed to complete the line up.
