I was born and raised in Melbourne, Fl. Started playing Bass at the age of eleven. Early influences from KISS, Van Halen, Foghat, ZZ Top and anything that Groved! Cut my teeth on the central / south Fl. circuit playing with numerous bands doing anything from Top-40 to Rock. Previous bands include; D’Boys, Code Blue, Shoot Ta Kill and Scratch. It was playing with Scratch in the town of Greenville, Ms. that would over time would lead me toward a greater opportunity that would forever change my life. Being dubbed as the look-a-like with Guitarist Kelly Love w/ Legendary band named ELI, the wheels were set in motion for something greater to come! A friendship/brotherhood was formed between Kelly and myself which is still alive today. Founder and then manager "Charlie Roberts" played a huge part of musical and personal guidance in my life before and during my time in Eli. Push it Hard and Beware of the Dog were the two CD’s released during 1990-1992 at what would be the height of Eli’s original material.
Close to a thousand shows under our belt in 4 years, by 1994, the country music crazy wiped out the rock scene and it was time to move on. I Since then, I moved back to Melbourne, Fl. After a 2 year break from playin’ music, I have since been active in the Spacecoast Area w/numerous bands and side projects. Bands played most recently w/ Due South, I Know Joe, Group Therapy, The Austin Pettit Band and Derek and the Slammers.
Now 41 years old, it’s time to satisfy my midlife crisis! Going back on the road baby!!! Joining the ranks of many great musicians before that have played beside Rock/ Blues Guitar Icon, Pat Travers.
I have always prided myself on playin’ for the song, (no more, no less) and entertaining people. Nothing beats the roar of a crowd and that’s what still drives me today!
