Considered by some to be the livest MC out of Pittsburgh, PA, Proseed combines schematic flow with the total package of delivery, concept, & purpose to create music that means something. He has been heavy on show dates since 2003, opening for such acts as: Aesop Rock, Mr Lif, Tech9NE, Fat Lip (Pharcyde), S.A. Smash, OneBelo, Kool Keith (technically was on the bill but Kool Keith's plane never left the terminal..drag!) Hangar 18, Blueprint, Illogic, & Louis Logic. Proseed has branched outside the city of Pittsburgh to do shows in Cleveland, Detroit, and Kent, OH and is continuing his efforts to make a statement in other cities. Proseed can be found doing shows with DJ's such as: DJ Nice Rec, who spins in several bars in the Lawrenceville/Bloomfield area, and DJ Drama J, spinning every Saturday night @ Scooby's in Bridgeville, PA. Proseed has worked with producers Maker of Glue & Galapagos4, and Elliot B from Oregon, known for his production efforts for 2Mex and Josh Martinez. His latest release, "Quintessential," was nearly a four year effort, and stands as his best work yet. Such an effort deserved the 8-week ad-run it paid for in the Pittsburgh City Paper between late August & mid October of 2007. The album can be bought in several stores in and around the Pittsburgh area, including: Dave's Music Mine (South Side), The Exchange (Dormont & South Side), Brave New World (Oakland), CD Warehouse (Washington, PA). Discussions of a collaboration with Prozack Turner of Foreign Legion (legendary underground Hip-Hop group) are the latest 'next moves' to provide to the public.
