Hip market happening Pop Boutique returns to the Hetherington Research Club on Saturday 13th October from noon - 6pm. Bring your friends, the kids, your mums as it's a totally inclusive environment with something for everyone and best of all you don't have to fork out any moola as it's FREE.
This Pop Boutique will have more of an Autumnal feel with warm coats, thicker clothing, big socks and perhaps some cool boots. Expect retro and vintage stalls, new clothing, cakes, alcohol (the venue is licensed), massage, records, gifts, meet friends and chill to DJs. Tons to keep you all warmed up as the cool weather begins to set in.
The Hetherington Research Club is at 13 University Gardens which is just off of Great George Street or University Avenue at Glasgow Uni. To get there get yourself onto Byres Rd and go up either of the streets mentioned. If you go up University Avenue then the venue is just on your left (it's an elegent Victorian style white building). If you come from the other end you have to walk right along past the QMU and take the lower road. It's at the end of the road on the right.
So, I hear you say...what's this Rebels Rule stuff on the page? Rebels Rule is my glam, punk and rock club which is on hiatus for the moment. However, I hope to have it return faster than you can say GLAM ROCK. Previously I was one quarter of the ladies behind Stereo's successful all girl music club Dolly Mixture.
