"Deja"Surrounded by gospel artist within the family, Deja couldnt help but to acknowledge her gift at the early age of 4. Contrary to her humble personality, her vocals are anything but modest. In fact, somewhat perplexing would describe the faces of producers that entertain her tracks as she quickly her studio sessions.At age 15 she has now set course in the direction of those which whom has inspired her like that of Lauren Hill, Beyonce and Stevie Wonder to name a few. Her soprano voice possesses a foundation of gospel that bottoms out with a crooning second alto which fools the listener of her age. Mary Mary, Shirley Caesar and Fred Hammond, all declared her as young Fire after being serenaded backstage while in Philly on tour. She has also performed for various Radio concerts, to include (Radio Disney) that centered around the Tri-state area, thus giving her the ability to deliver an alarming confidence when performing. Armed with dancers, hot tracks and yet music that wont make grandma blush, her sound and live show will always have a strong demand because of the scarcity of clean urban music. It was Deja's ideal to create an R&B/Hip-hop pocket of music that was hot, minus the sex, drug and violence that catered to her age and market. While studying those whom inspired her, she began writing taking the basics from dad, then creating her own flow that coincides with todays feel.Dejas music focuses on family, friends having fun while exploring the questions that youth may have about every day life. Her goal is to set a standard of music that many will want to follow, then staffing her own company with new artist started by her and dad, entitled WhiteSands.Mirrored by her mom to be poised and a young lady at all times, she promises by nature to set a standard of excellence within the entertainment community and beyond.
