And you thought pretty, Southern girls were limited to a charming drawl. Think again, my friend. From the beautiful beaches of South Carolina, these metro-edgy girls kick it up a notch with banging beats and positive lyrics that are deliciously catchy. From dance hits to soulful ballads, iCande is a hot, new girl-group of tight-knit friends – strong role models who are clearly enjoying where they are in life: young, happy and full of potential.

If it seems like the girls have known each other for years, it’s because they were in fact childhood playmates, cheerleading together, attending the same classes, and getting their first breaks at the same modeling and talent agency, Z-1 Models and Talent. After a Z-1 showcase talent event at which each of the girls won individual awards, the four friends lit on the idea to team up and share their mutual love of music and dance by assembling iCande. At that point, all the pieces came together as iCande paired up with the hit songwriting and production team of Kirsti Manna and Bill Warner out of Nashville TN. “We are thrilled to be working with the girls,” says Kirsti Manna, writer of 5 week Billboard 1 breakout hit "Austin" for Warner Brothers’ artist Blake Shelton and the new roof raiser “Loud” which is released in two versions by country superstars Big & Rich and also rapper Lil Jon. "They all possess that unique, intangible spark that not every performer can put across,” adds Nashville mainstay producer/engineer Bill Warner whose credits range from Christian music icon Michael W. Smith to Cowboy Troy’s “Simlish” version of “I Play Chicken with the Train” in the popular video game Sims 2. “Any time they are together, whether on stage, in the studio, or just in public, the ‘it’ factor is instantly recognizable.”

Quickly evolving from teen wannabes to one of the hottest new groups in the country, the girls are known for the sweet blending of their distinctive voices paired with high-energy choreography. The girls’ music is uniquely self-defined as “SOPO” – Southern pop with an edge and they have also dubbed their blending of street hip hop moves and acrobatics “FLIP-HOP”. “They’re four beautiful southern girls,” explains their agent, Donna Ehrlich of Z-1 Models and Talent, “who sing, dance, and still say ‘yes, ma’am’ and ‘yes, sir’.” With their fresh SOPO style, the band members creatively collaborate to translate each song’s lyrics into an attitude-y groove. The girls obviously share the success vibe, both on their recordings and as friends, chiming in with natural smack-talk to complete each other’s thoughts. The result is an unstoppable chemistry that’s churning out iCande-licious hits – infectious, “insider” songs that expand the realm of girl-talk to encompass all listeners, impressing audiences and charming the nation.
