Aaron Thomas Dunbar is now 17 years old. This young man is so anointed and has been used by God. Singing since 4 at Deliverance Evangelistic Church in North Philadephia. His mother Angela Dunbar trained him up on the Sunbeam choir. First Solo song "Alabaster Box" by Cece Winans in 1997. Since then Aaron has been singing in areas such as Philadelphia,PA Lower Marion,PA, New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, Baltimore,MD, Cleveland,OH, and Detroit,MI. He sings at weddings, various churches, concerts, funerals and many more.October 2002, at age 12, he amazed the tough audience of Apollo at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia singing "Still I Rise" by Yolanda Adams. Everyone was upset that he didn't win. But God truely opened many doors for him. He was exposed on "6 ABC", "Channel 10 News" and the "Metro".Major Events he sang at were the Mayoral Ball, 3801 Market st, Warm Daddy's, major weddings, Gibson Music Center, CLC Bookstore in Chestnut Hill, a music video in 2005 for the Thanksgiving Parade(ABC), Solo concerts at various places, 2 secret locations that were sold out, and just a whole lot of more places.2007- Aaron auditioned for American Idol in Philadelphia on August 27th but didnt he make it to the next round...sad to say American Idol came to Philly for singing rejects so to say...but Aaron is still being blessed and is proceeding on recording songs on his soon to come CD in late 2008. He has been working on his future CD titled "Fearfully and Wonderfully Made" in 2008, with some help from local producers from the tri-state area(Philadelphia,Pa, New Jersey,Delaware)Me and the praise team singing.
