Years ago around '97, BLANG started going to underground parties(raves) and watched djs spin. Really was blown away by the whole electronic music scene in LA and So.cal. Immediately was drawn into the scene. Enjoi'd the people, the music, the art, and the great atmosphere where He felt most FREE. So a couple years later when he gained the knowledge, money(records get expensive), and confidence...BLANG asked for turntables for his B-day one year. Both parents ARE very supportive, being a music lover and musician...went out and bought BLANG's first set of 1's & 2's.Been DJing now for almost 6 1/2 YRS recreationally,and in the last 2 years or so been persueing it as more than just a hobby. BLANG is an EQ destroyer,with his fingers always on the switches.DJ BLANG creates much movement and energy in his sets: A lot of cutting, and adding to the track, and scratching as well but its not his primary use of manipulation.
