SlagDog Afterbirth (SDA) have been sloggin it out in the Brisbane scene since 2003 - with a blend of new and refreshing material.Comprising five long time muso-wannabes in a pre-midlife crisis. First formed after a series of impromptu jams in a back shed in suburban Redland Bay.Singer Jinx had pent up angst to dispose of after the winding up of his previous outfit Strange Stains. When guitarists Dave and Craig and bassist Tim jammed regularly across the road in Craigs shed Jinx had to get in on it and the foundation for SDA was laid.The search for a drummer was rewarded with Jase who slotted straight in taking existing songs to a new level and helping to inspire new material.SDA strives to deliver a hard, fast and loud blend of musical styles throughout their repertoire, making it difficult to categorize ranging from old school punk and hard rock to thrash and metal.
