Here's a bit about what I like written in rhyming verse cause that's one of the things I like...lol
I have an obsession for songs that start and end the same.
Don't care much for days when it rains.
Love castles and buildings and tree houses.
Large kitchens, soft linens and natural gardens.
Children are like angels that lost their wings
Here on earth to pay for their sins.
I love children above all "things".
I love a man who knows where he stands on everything
But still wants to take you under his wing.
The smell of coffee and freshly cut grass
Lilacs and blueberry scented candles bring back memories from the past.
Home is where ever I lay my head.
Prefer staying up late and sleeping in the morning instead.
Music always plays in my head.
Shades of brown and blue delight me, as do dark chocolate, carrot cake and freshly baked bread.
You now know more about me than most people do...
Cause what I do best is listen to you :)

FOUND A QUOTE THAT WILL BE MY MOTTO
"Whatever you are by nature,
Keep to it; never desert your line of talent.
Be what nature intended you for and you will succeed."
Sydney Smith(1771-1845)
Another quote, from Will Hoge that makes me feel more "normal"... woo hoo :)
“I’m embarrassingly in love with rock and roll,†he admits. “It’s disgusting. We ride around and play rock and roll. On the bus after shows we listen to records and turn each other on to new music. When we get home we spend a little time with loved ones, but within about 72 hours of being home we’re back together listening to records again, or looking for guitars, or something. I can’t lie about it, it’s all-consuming.â€
ENDORSEMENT SECTION
CHRIS VYE
There is something to be said about an artist who writes, plays, records and produces all on his own. The freedom it generates to test and explore your own abilities and not rely on matching ideas or having to deal with power struggles with a counterpart is notable.
The instrumental rock guitar work of Englishman CHRIS VYE, showcases his technically refined abilities, yet his pieces reveal how diverse of an overall composer he is. From the Spanish flavor of "Latino Baby" to the sweepingly smooth love ballad "Alabama Sunset", VYE infuses his own style of phasing and variation that captures and flows into a musical feeling all its own.
The latest addition to VYES eclectic instrumentals "Usual Insanity", adds fuel to the much anticipated release of his new CD in 2008. The guitar layers of rhythm, melody, and solo - surrounded by cascading notes and wonderful tone, make for an ingenious rock song. Listen to CHRIS VYE at his MySpace profile, and hear for yourself some of rocks best guitar instrumentals.

CD REVIEW
SHEBANG / PRETEND NOT TO NOTICE
.....................2007.......................
Pretend Not to Notice, Shebang’s first full length Cd has a bona fide sound all their own. Classify this as punk/modern rock, yet should easily appeal to a broad spectrum of music enthusiasts. Every song is the complete package, no gaps between melody/lyric/or arrangement. Brilliant job by producer Brett Hestla. Now I’m throwing some comparisons out there just to give a written visual. Musically there’s the rhythm of the Ramones punk sound and the driving, bad ass rock melodies of say, Joan Jett. Gina Longo's vocal has similarities of Flyleaf’s Lacey Mosley. High notes strong, great tone and range, that quiver in the voice that makes a very good singer. Guitar work of Deb Cox is clear and clean, and still smoking up that fretboard. Just listen to :53 second piece “This Has No Titleâ€. Sweet.
Breakdown of songs:
1) Still Waiting
“Waiting for the times to change,so we can stay the same.â€
Definitely radio potential in this song, if radio had potential. Hot guitar solo, great hook, pounding strength.
2) Pretend
“ Pretend not to notice...â€
Title track has even stronger hit factor, melody just stays in your head.
3) Strong Enough
“We have cried enough for now.â€
Pounding piece, excellent punk beat.
4) Spinning Lies
“You justify and I tranquilize my own pain.â€
Fast paced and catchy. Another perfectly structured song.
5) Asking
“Are you waiting over there, won’t you just stay over here?â€
Nice harmonizing and percussion piece.
6) Think Again
“Every soul that you touch now, has to run for their lifeâ€
Dark and brooding, in both melody and lyric. Very hypnotic, once again with strong guitar solo.
7) Culture Shock
“9 to 5 I can’t breathe, this world drives me mad.â€
Absolutely amazing song. Shout spoken lyrics puts your fists up in the air. Cool bass line, drumming delight, guitar bliss.
8) Misunderstood
“With your dreams come your luck, your true romanceâ€
Good story telling song.
9) What I Want
“I’m so far gone, but it’s what I want. Don’t help me I’m okay.â€
Nice bass line carries through melody. Nice use of stereo, listen through headphones.
10) Usual Mess
“How am I supposed to survive?â€
Starts with enchanting acoustic guitar then kicks in royally. Gripping long note held by Gina really grabs hold of you and gives shivers. This reviewers favorite song.
11) This Has No Title
Guitar solo that probably should have led into a song, such a tease.
12) How I Feel
“When did you see me walking out, slipping in the back row?â€
Raging guitar rhythm and guitar solo, repetitious chorus.
13) One of These
“All our truths are not the same.â€
Grove is very similar to “How I Feel†just less guitar power and less repetition.
