PEACE, LOVE AND ANIMALS! it can happen. Do something profound with your life! MAKE A DIFFERENCE. SAFARI'S We've been soooo busy this past -well since the ice storm in December. We start to get caught up - then we get busy, just keeping things fed, holidays hit, my BIG birthday hit, and it took soo much of my time. eeeeek. I just want to get caught up and take care of the Safari stuff -and get some rest. Kurt (safaris vp) is soo tired, he covers the weekdays while I work my day job (7am-5pm). And NOW he's doing weekdays by himself. We've moved the interns out -they weren't working, just living there for free -and whining. Weekday regulars have things that have come up, another got a day job. WE NEED HELP. If you can come help -just 1 weekday from 9am till noon.... thats it! If you have that time available -we'll train you! You can't know how much help it would be.
People who MAKE a DIFFERENCE. Oprah is inspirational. Even Ellen. People who use the opportunities they have to share what they believe in, whats in their hearts. Not what people told them they "should" believe in.... what deep down inside tell you to do. I've finally started listening to that voice, and I've found a true inner peace, it's surreal. Love to meet REAL people, not people who smile and love you to your face, then chatter behind your back... I'm a big girl, if there's something you don't like, tell me -not everyone else. Love to meet people who love animals, and want to work with them. I'LL TEACH YOU TO BE A ZOOKEEPER -IF YOU WANNA GET DIRTY. SAFARIS would love to meet grant writers, fund raisers, welders, plumbers, electricians, & builders -who have spare time! :)
Rock and roll! Alternative! No country... eeeeek, no depressing country, ran over my dog, grandma died, husband left me, bla bla bla - I'd rather have head banging Metallica, or old rock Motley Crue, Guns n Roses, even slower rock like Elton John, and Queen... just NO Country! oooh depressing.
Gory scary stuff... Interview with a Vampire, Silence of the Lambs, to Pirates of the Caribbean, Gladiator... Rocky Horror Tulsa Style...if you haven't seen their live production HERE Tulsa PAC every October... they are fabulous! incredible! the most entertaining show I've been to in quite a while. Well since the Lion King production.
Don't have cable/satellite... so Channel 2 Works for You, Fox 23, and videos of Nip Tuck, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Medium, ...Looking forward to this new Vampire TV show... anyone know anything about it?? I love mystical stuff that takes me away from reality... there's too much reality some times.
Don't have time to read, but when I do.... Laurell K Hamilton, Christine Feehan, Anne Rice (vampire stuff).... I'd be a vampire if i could. You know -I could offer them a taste of the wild life, they could give me strength and immortality - - I could rescue animals FOREVER! wow what a thought.
ANIMAL RESCUERS! You know, they work 24/7 with little to no thanks, but the animals survival. They are true heroes. Anyone who gives of them self, without expecting in return -that is the definition of a HERO. ..Of course the usual animal guys -Crocodile Hunter, Jack Hannah, all the animal gods... AND my wonderful, handsome, loving husband, and no I'm not just kissing up.
My best friend's -who are kind, beautiful, and amazing, business women. Nothing is sexier than a confident smart woman... ask any of the men who chase them.
