Dr. Ingbert

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm a pretty cool guy... literally.
I spend my nights in a freezer.

My Interests

Photography, birding, computers (which basically means I take a lot of bird pictures and put them up on the internet), conlangs, Neverwinter Nights, books, movies, nature, sleep

I'd like to meet:

Anyone with an open mind who isn't afraid to use it.

Who I don't want to meet:
Robots. I used to work with robots, so I know how stupid they are (not like the ones you see in the movies). If your profile gives the least indication you may be a robot, your friend request will be denied out of hand. If your photo is of a scantily clad young woman, I won't even bother to check your profile. If your request is at risk of being denied for these reasons, please send a message letting me know that you are at least partially human.

Mostly Geese

It's been gloomy all day, at least the parts I was awake for. Cloudy skies make for interesting sunsets, so I headed over to the river next door around sunset to see what there was to see. Lots a...

Secret Experiments

Just trying to figure out how to post a picture from the photo section into a blog. I just copied and pasted this one. I know there's another way to do it because I've done it before. Just can't rem...

Driving I-275, I-471, and I-75 with birds and gargoyles

Last night I found myself driving down I-275 right at sunset. I always see the best pictures when I'm driving. The full moon was up just above the tops of the trees with some nicely colored clouds pas...

Waiting for the Bookstore to Open

I decided to celebrate Black Friday with a trip to Barnes & Noble. It wasn't a long trip, since I live pretty much right across the street from them. It was a gloomy snowy morning, so I left about...

Once More With Feeling

"Once More With Feeling" is one of my all time favorite episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Executive producer Joss Whedon had always wanted to do a musical, so he wrote this episode as a musical. I...

Finally.... a computer that works

I have good news for those of you who are tired of hearing me complain about my poor old decrepid computer. I finally broke down and got a new one. It's a Dell Inspiron laptop. So far, I like it, thou...
