Here's to changing up my world...

About Me

Originally from South Florida, I was raised in quite a musical home. Dad brought a little alternative rock to the table, while mom mixed it up with the pop side of things... Always ready to put on a show, my musical journey beagn with a Madonna look-a-like contest... at 3 years old... (Thanks Mom). I did the best damn rendition of "Like a Virgin" you've ever heard!! With the inspiration of my first singing teacher, Jean Bongiorno, I really fell in love with the blend of sultry, meaningful lyrics with a simple, yet moving melody. Listening to artists like Maria McKee, The Indigo Girls, and Jean, herself, I pretty much knew what I wanted to do with my own music. Then came the theater world... I was so wrapped up in Barbara Streisand at one point, I vowed to spend thousands of dollars to move to New York and go to school for Musical Theater Performance. Living up to the promise, I moved here, completed school and now am trying to blend everything I've learned... in school, in life, and in love.... into something original and genuine. I picked up the guitar and taught myself the basics in order to get the melodies and lyrics from my mind and from the page into an actual vessel.... Thanks for listening. It means so much to me.....I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4
