Shamanic Music For The 21st Century

About Me

Synthpig is the weird end of Inverted Ear. I'm into texture, grain of sound and sonic hypnosis. I want to bring out the richness and possibilities of this in my 'music'. I like to arrange random collisions between weird and textured sounds by recording one track on a multi-track machine whilst not listening to the others. A good deal of my 'pieces' are assemblages of sonic accidents that I have arranged. This method has allowed me to come up with unusual sound clusters that often pull in different directions. I like the feeling of being pulled apart when I listen to music.I'd like to engage in swaps of home-produced cds of experimental music always remembering that there must be a mental element in these experiments. I'm looking for a key to open up unexplored parts of the mind. If you have a part of that key, then it'd be great to see how far we can get into the substrata of the brain via these exchanges. I'm sure that strange sound experiences are the way-in as they deregulate reality and subvert the structures that are keeping us prisoners of ourselves and society. Thanks for listening and hoping that it caused you serious mental damage.

Two Dimensions Are Coming To You

I haven't achieved it yet but I want to make music that has the effect of a thousand anvils simultaneously falling on you. The sonic equivalent of life in a pressure cooker where there's no release, j...

The Importance Of Slop
