The Sonic Reshaper

About Me

Shaman Headinvader is about to take over your mind. His sonic rumblings inhabit the dangerous frequencies of the subconscious. Through music S H aims at transforming you. He's out to a reshape your head. Let his waves of subliminal wisdom wash over your secret selves. Let him free you from your cage.To achieve these aims of transcendence, Shaman Headinvader uses methods that only the seriously unhinged could conceive of. He believes firmly and fundamentally in the importance of playing his instruments badly. To this end he recently took a solemn vow never to tune his guitar again. The grating delights of this approach can often be heard in his twisted, twirling pieces. You may find this strange, but there's no way you're going to get a different head if you listen to normally played and constituted music. S H also believes in the necessity of not consciously thinking when making music. To this end he uses chance procedures in the construction of his sound canvasses. To him, lost inside his distorted wisdom, this seems the only way to reach the unknown dimensions that lie within us all. Get ready for a journey into inner space with Shaman Headinvader at your side!

Artists As Shamen

It suddenly struck me the other day that in modern society artists have a sort of shamanic role. Like shamen they go to the other sides of themselves, delve into other dimensions and realiti...
