Old-Skool Industrial aesthetic, raw stripped-down early Goth, Somnium7 cuts through the fluff like shots on a crowded subway platform.
Virginia Beach's Somnium Seven takes goth and replaces it's flowery romanticism with the real-life morbidity of urban blight and economic warfare. Then they take industrial and jam its gears into reverse to before the viral contamination of the glo-stick-techno fad. Then with a new streetwise sensibility and a sharp sociopolitical outlook the two genres are poured into a new mold shaped by the chaos of random noise. The end result is a new kind of fusion, irradiated with originality and sparking with new life.

The views expressed in Somnium7's "music" are views formed over years of individualistic thought. Views untainted by the mass-media engine which confounds our ability to distinguish fact from fiction. There is no religious, racist or sexist ideology involved. Simply the pure sociological truth about the worlds societies, the habits of mankind and our relationships with each other as human beings in an increasingly mechanized environment.
