What do you get when you mix a bass player from Scotland, a drummer, guitarist and a vocalist from Virginia? You get the amazing Alternative / Rock band Rah Element.
Rah Element, cmprised of L.A. ( lead vocals), Eric (Drums), Rendell / Vocals (Guitar) and Dennis (Bass / Vocals ), incorporates various styles such as Funk, Pop, Punk, Metal, and Hip Hop break beats to give the band its sound. Influenced by artists and bands like Living Colour, Follow For Now, Tool, Fishbone, Bad Brains, George Clinton, and Red Hot Chili Pepers. Rah Element has worked with producers Victor Lundon ( Run DMC, Hi-Five, Teddy Riley) and engineers Paul Arnold ( Red Hot Chili Pepers, Tupac, Christina Aguilera), Woody Bradford and Medi(sin) Productions to complete he music on their debut album including the lead single "Please Forgive Me".Rah Element is in the process of sigining a contract with White Records ( Thin Lizzy, AC/DC, Steel Pulse, Sex Pistols, Chaka Khan, UB40 etc. ) in Manchester England. The contract will have Rah Element single on White Records annual compilation with up and coming artist from around the world. The compilation, distributed through CBS Records will be released in May of 2008. Rah Element will also be releasing a dance mix of " Please Forgive Me" in the United States, followed by the rock version shortly thereafter. The U.S. version will also be released in May through DME distribution. They have performed at numerous venues in the Hampton Roads area, including the premiere Rock & Roll venue in South East Virginia, The Norva.Rah Element while putting the final touches on their EP, are preparing for a nationl tour in the United States as well as launching a promo tour in Japan.
