Rugani Haunted House

2007 will mark the 21st year that the Rugani family has transformed their Novato home into a Haunted Amusement on Halloween Night. Each year we choose a different theme then we spend months planning and building a spooky display around that theme.The building begins in late August and early September. Each year a cast of 20 - 30 people shows up on October 31st to haunt the community with us. From well rehearsed scripts to homemade costumes to gruesome make-up, nothing is overlooked on Halloween night.We don't ask for admission to enter our haunt, just a donation to the Marin Community Food Bank. There are food barrels and a money donation post located outside the haunted house. Over the years we've been able to raise several thousand pounds of food and a few thousand dollars for the food bank to help with their year round drive. A special thanks to all our friends and neighbors for their hard work, time and donations.A warning though, because of the community response there can be quite a line.
