Wanting to fill a void in Detroit's party scene, I thought of a way to see the people who i wanted to see in my hometown, I started promoting my own monthy residency here called "NAVYSEAL HOUSE TROOPS". And with that came a decent following, but I felt I needed to up the ante. I started bringing in National acts. The first being Rich Medina. What started as a one-off gathering turned into a quarterly residency. From there, I thought why stop at just promoting parties and let the music we hear and have become known for in Detroit stay in Detroit? Thus, TASTEMAKERS RECORDS were born.TASTEMAKERS RECORDS is set out to bring to the world quality House, Funk, Soul and Disco compilations as well as original music from local and international acts.With start-ups in the United States as well as the United Kingdom, our goal is plain and simple..."to bring you quality parties and records...dude"
