Interview
1. What do you think the evolution of Hip Hop will be in the future?
There will be a balance when bad music is balanced out by quality music; a new movement will be established in the industry.
2. What quality do you find most important in a talent or those you want to work with in the industry?
Dedication, mutual success, and proficiency are important when I work with a client or partner.
3. What artists or pioneers do you credit for pushing you into your music career, past and presently?
My deepest admirations go to Tupac Shakur, Tom Dowd, Marvin Gaye, Ray Charles, and Russell Simmons. As a newcomer to the industry, I’m progressing my strengths, and correcting my weaknesses. At the moment I got respect for the work of: Ray Seay, Pitt Bull, Young Jeezy, Jay- Z, Nas, Trick Daddy, Fifty- Cent, Chamillionaire ,Young Buck, T.I., Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, DMX, Lil Wayne, Cool & Dre, Three Six Mafia, and Tru Life.
4. How would you describe your relationship with your artists?
You got to be able to handle directness; criticism improves the product.
I ask them how they see themselves in this career and based on their reply, I measure the amount of effort I put into the work. Other than that, everyone will always find me in a comfortable, chilling environment, ready to exchange ideas and make good music.
5. Besides money, what other motivating factor drives you in your career?
The opportunity to fulfill my career and have a compilation of albums with different artists; I want to leave my mark on the business.
