Somebody DIES! came together when lounge musicians, drummer Cooper Doomsday and guitar player, Dickie Spectacular met keyboardist, Taryn Paper. Intrigued by her curves, Aretha Franklin-like singing voice and knowlegde of keytars, they got together for a practice and the results were startling. It was like they had transcended space and time and landed in 1977, the best year in disco. Soon, hoardes of people were showing up to watch them practice in a basement in South Philadelphia, formerly known as Fingerblast Alley. Bass player Matt "savage" Blast lived in that house and started playing bass for the band. He was responcible for getting the band many shows with his other band, The Random Houses, renamed sometimes as The Tandem Mouses. With the networking they had built, Cooper coming all the way from Princeton, the masses of people throwing their under g armets at them and the dance/porncore/disco fusion that made people bleed and drink cheap beer, its no wonder Somebody DIES! is becoming a Philadelphia favorite.
Now, after months of labor, Somebody DIES! has successfully thrown millions of shows and parties all the time at the newly furnished PAPERSPACE in Rittenhouse Square.
this is for the butt touchers:
