The beginning of the story about the band called Arthemida reaches back in the year of 2002, when Robert C. and Robert L., who have already made some music together (Robert C. on rhythm guitar and vocals and Robert L. on drums), one autumn afternoon decided to form a band called The Snakes. They come from Prekmurje, which is a small region in north-eastern Slovenia.
Shortly after, Sao B. (bass guitar) and Emanuel K. (Pici, lead guitar) joined them, and the group became alive. First songs came on the face of the earth, such as: Dobrih ljudimrzel obraz, Snakes... and many others which are still played on the concerts. Among them is also the one called Dark Side, which can be heard today under the title Thunderstorm.
In the spring of 2003 band started concerting around Slovenia. The most important of all the concerts are surely the ones in Rock delavnica (workshop) in Rue and Metal Spektakel, where the band has played with other bands like Evil Kind, Ventura, Little Ann...who are bands very much known in Prekmurje. Before the concert in Rue took place the band has made one more crucial step in their history renaming of the band. Their name The Snakes was exchanged with Thunder Storm.
In the summer of 2003, precisely on July 8th 2003, bands line-up was changed. After Sao B. and Emanuel K. left, Daniel D. on bass guitar and Matej C. on lead guitar and back vocals joined the lineup. This is also the current line up of the band:

Robert Lang - drums
Daniel Domonko - bass guitar
Matej Cvetko - back vocals, lead guitar
After that, some radical changes in the music kind have happened. The rhythms of hard rock where exchanged with heavier and heavier sounds of metal music. After the first ten songs came into existence, band recorded their first demo with those 10 tracks under the name Thunder Storm. It was released on April 25th and was recorded in Studio Ultra with a lot of help of Matja and Robert of band Obnounce. On this demo we can find tracks like: Inside of Me, Victory of Death, Snakes... Most of the songs were written by Robert C., who is also the founding leader of the band, except of songs Nothing to Lose written by Robert L. and Victory of Death and Spiritual written by Matej C..
In this lineup the band has achieved a lot. They were also mentioned in all kinds of public media, like newspaper, TV, radio and internet.
After some time of their existence has passed, band members realized that there is something wrong with their name, again. The problem was that there are already a few bands called »Thunderstorm« in many forms and variations. So after a long thinking and braking their heads with making up a new name it just came up: ARTHEMIDA. And so it was and it is. Hopefully, forever.
For conclusion I would like to add only that, that the band has just released their second demo called Not the Same, including 8 tracks, mostly written by Robert C. The second demo is heavier, harder and faster than the first one.
