Dear Friends,I am Giordano Sangiorgi, president of AudioCoop and M.E.I. (Meeting of Independent Labels), the most important convention of independent music here in Italy.
We’d like to have your attention on M.E.I. (Meeting of Independent Labels), the event we organize since 1997 in Italy.
This year, 2007, is the 11th edition and we want to open our meeting to our friends coming from every corner of the world, after the good experience of the last year.
M.E.I. International is attracting people from Brazil, Russia, U.S.A., Belgium, France, Spain, Malta, Hungary, Bulgaria and many other countries.
We'd like to co-operate with an interesting structure as you are. Please let me know in which way we could create a partnership.
We are interested in every kind of music: rock, folk, etnic, dance, reggae, jazz, ect.....but we think that a meeting works if you can get in touch with different experiences and no experience is less precious than others. We are open and we need open people to create the magic during those three days.

I'd like to introduce you the world of M.E.I. (Independent Labels Meeting):
"UNICO SALONE DELLA MUSICA ITALIANA"
M.E.I. is the only real reference point on the Italian and European new music scene in Italy.
It's the greatest independent music project in Italy with 25.000 visitors, more than 300 exhibitors, 400 artists and live bands, 150 music professionals and journalists in the last edition. A meeting place of music and culture, with debates, show cases, presentations and collateral events.
M.E.I. is a creation of AudioCoop, association which involves more than 150 Independent Italian Labels.
It carries out activities of coordination and promotion of independent music in Italy.
Next edition 2007 is the 11th edition of M.E.I. and new sectors have established.
One of the most important is M.E.I. INTERNATIONAL: a new stand with the presence of all our partners from every corner of the world to affirm the value and potential of networking across borders.
One of the aims of M.E.I. is to net the community by building equal basis partnerships with all kinds of complimentary structures.
AudioCoop invites you to the 11th edition of M.E.I.: from 23 - 25 November 2007 the worldwide music industry meets in Faenza, Italy.
