SUMMA Brothers

I SUMMA sono un "Jamming Trio" di Reggio Emilia che propone pezzi funky, blues, swing, soul e rock 'n roll. Dal settembre 2005 a oggi le loro esibizioni live si sono proposte in diverse birrerie, locali, feste di paese, feste di matrimonio e addirittura, data la loro versatilità e autonomia di strumentazione e impianto di amplificazione, anche in posti tra i più insoliti e curiosi come ristoranti, bar, concerti “in strada” tra le vie di Reggio Emilia e addirittura negozi di abbigliamento! Il trucco dei SUMMA è quello di offrire un repertorio anni ’50, ’60 e ’70 riproponendo le grandi hit del passato con diversi stili di improvvisazione tant’è che spesso nascono dal vivo pezzi nuovi, inventati sul momento grazie all’innato e spontaneo senso dell’improvvisazione che possono vantare i “Summa Brothers”.

The SUMMA is a "Jamming Trio" from Reggio Emilia. They offer funky, blues, swing, soul and rock 'n roll songs. From September 2005 their Live concerts took place in many different pubs, town fests, wedding parties and even, thanks to their versatility and to the amplification system that they own, in very unusual and curious places like restaurants, bars, concerts “on the street” in the streets of Reggio Emilia and even in fashion stores! The SUMMA secret is to offer many songs from the ’50s, the ’60s and the ’70s playing the most famous ‘oldies’ with different styles of improvisation and for this reason sometimes new songs are invented during the live concert, thanks to the innate and spontaneous sense of improvisation the “Summa Brothers” can go proud of.
