Arts Wire ( www.artswire.org ) is a national artist organization that is a great source on what's out there for artists.
For scholarship information on art and art history (whether you are in college or not) the College Art Associaction ( www.collegeart.org ) is a good starting point.
For woman in specific there is the Woman's Caucus for Art ( www.nationalwca.com ). Also you can find chapters for the National Artists Equity Association at www.artists-equity.org .
For video artists, audio, film etc the National Alliance for Media Arts and Culture ( www.namac.org ) are a media based support organization.
For legal advise there are organizations of Volenteer Lawyers for the Arts which I believes requires membership of some sort. They assist with nonprofit status, copyright laws, contracts etc. There are many and the best way to find one in your area is to do an .. search for "volunteer lawyers for the arts" and find a chapter near you.
An orginzation that specializes in promoting Latino, Chicano and Native American culture is the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center ( www.guadalupeculturalarts.org ).
