About Me

"On the bed, on the floor, on a towel by the door. In the tub, in a car, up against the mini-bar!"
Introductions suck, but whatever. I'M ERIC. And I'm Batman. If you wanted to take everything... and I mean f'n EVERYTHING... into a blender and see what would happen, you'd get me. An Asian (Filipino represent SUCKA) guy with too much free time or none at all. I'm busy with school and trying to go far, but I also occupy myself with the fine art of being the laziest mofo around. I'm into nerdy things... TV, movies, video games, comic books, etc. and I'm damn proud of it.
I have a heavy love for Japanese culture, and I'd love to visit Japan one day. In fact, most of the things I like revolve from my love for Japan. Martial arts? Japan. Movies? Japan. Comic books? NIHON! But there are some good ol' American things that I dig. Like cheeseburgers. Or things that go boom.
Like I said, I'm a big fan of comic books. While I don't read them or follow them as much as I'd like to, I keep up with what I can on Wikipedia, and I watch as many of the comic book movies as I can (without throwing up... and I ignore the rly rly rly bad ones... *cough*Catwoman*cough*)
I like vidja gamez. They're pointless but OH GOD DELICIOUSLY FUN. I play anything and everything, from the niche-st, budget-title Japanese game to the triple-A juggernaut that Microsoft or Sony likes to pump out every now and then. You name it, I've played it. And if I haven't, then I've heard of it.
I consider anime an art. Up yours if you think differently. Bug-eyes and unrealistic visuals give it a unique feel, and one shouldn't let this little "flaw" (if you'd like to use that term) get in the way of what could be a fun-as-hell experience. 'sides, the women are clothed only 10% of the time. It's like free hentai without being considered a major pervert.
I like wrestling. I'm a JV wrestler for my school's wrestling team, and I find myself tuning into pro wrestling often. WWE, Ring of Honor, TNA, I'll watch it. 'cause I love it. (And yes, I already know all the secrets and such. The bookers, and scripts, the popcorn matches, the razor blades... but there's something admirable in what those men and women do every night. I take great pleasure in seeing them perform.)
I like music, but I can't bring myself to learn an instrument (which is why something like Guitar Hero and Rock Band are godsent). I find its too late for me to pick up an axe and grind, but I do love the sound of the strings being shredded. Oh, and Broadway is cool too. I think my favorite show is Avenue Q, but Phantom of the Opera was fun as hell to watch.
I like movies, and a part of me wants to work in movies as either a director or writer. I don't know why, but expressing oneself through the camera seems like... fun.
So, that's basically me. There's more to your left if you care to read, so enjoy yourself. 'sides, I don't think you even bothered reading this much here anyway. I'm typing this up at 3:00 in the morning and I'm fucking tired, but I'm just keeping myself busy here.
..See you around. -Eric "MegaRyu"PS: I'm also on Facebook now!"; I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!

My Interests

I'm into enjoying life. I enjoy road trips, video games, professional wrestling (WWE, TNA, ROH, etc.) theatre and music, comic books, anime, role-playing games, technology, collecting cards, manga, Japanese culture and cuisine, television, art (well...to an extent), and crazy things you and a friend would do on a boring summer day. Basically? I'm into living.

I'd like to meet:

Someone who's fun, loving, and fun loving! And try not to be a total ass, I hate them.
There are many idols and TV figures I'd love to meet in real life. I've had the honor of meeting some of the original cast members of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, including Johnny Young Bosch (Adam), Austin St. John (Jason), Walter Jones (Zach), Steve Cardenas (Rocky), and even Tony Oliver, the executive producer! I even met other cast members and Power Ranger alumni in one weekend (Power MorphiCon 2007. I will never forget it).
I've also met my share of pro wrestlers. I've met AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Austin Aries, Chris Candido (RIP), King Kong Bundy, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, and the Hardy Brothers. I also had a conversation with John Cena on the telephone for awhile back in 2004.
I also met Hilary Duff at Toys R Us in NYC, back in 2003.
There are still many, many people I'd love to meet though. Adam Sessler, Morgan Webb, Shoko Nakagawa, Jackie Chan, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Ellen Degeneras, CM Punk, Steve Wang, Kevin Smith, Kane Kosugi, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Quentin Tarantino, Mark Musashi, Jet Li, Kevein Pereira, Olivia Munn, Chan-wook Park, and Shigeru Miyamoto, just to name a few.
I've met some of my online friends in the past, and it'd be great if I can see them again.

Music:

Music nowadays suck, but I find myself horribly addicted to Rock Band or Guitar Hero.
I admit, while I did find "Soulja Boy" catchy, I couldn't stand it and I wanted to pierce my eardrums after the radio played it so goddamn much.
I'll listen to anything, and I'm a fan of Linkin Park, Jay Chou, Eminem, Genki Rockets, Amy Lee (She has a beautiful voice, in my opinion. Even if she SCREAAAAMS alot), The Goo Goo Dolls, AAA, Eyeshine, Bon Jovi, Alkaline Trio, Psychic Lover, and Shoko Nakagawa. Rap, hip-hop, alternative rock, classic rock, rap metal, j-rock, j-pop, and even a little pop and dance dominate my iPod. I'm trying to get myself into nerdcore.

Movies:

Movies have lost their creativity, but I do enjoy a couple few (contrary to the long ass list I have).
I enjoy action/kung-fu movies, cop movies, fucked-up ending movies, Asian cinema, and nerd flicks. A few chick flicks here and there but only if they actually have some substance.
